About the Commission
The Dodge County TSC members are approved and appointed to serve pursuant Wisconsin Statutes, Chapter 83 (§83.013 (1)(a), Wis. Stats.).
Membership includes the county highway commissioner or a designated representative, the chief county traffic law enforcement officer or a designated representative, the county highway safety coordinator, and a representative designated by the county board from each of the disciplines of education, medicine and law. Members are appointed that are involved in law enforcement, highways and highway safety by the secretary of transportation. All members will comprise a traffic safety commission that shall meet at least quarterly to review traffic accident data from the county and other traffic safety related matters.
Our Mission
The Dodge County Traffic Safety Commission is intended to be a means of bringing local and state expertise to the task of minimizing the incidence and severity of traffic crashes. TSC membership, by design, creates a collaboration of stakeholders whose commonality is a dedication to reduce injuries and death on our Dodge County roadways.
