Sheriff Cadets
Our Mission
A youth organization developed to use teamwork, leadership and responsibility to better our community and teach our generation how to become future law enforcement professionals.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the Dodge County Sheriff Cadets. We are looking for qualified candidates from the ages of 14 to 20 years old to participate in the Sheriff's Cadets. These candidates should be dedicated students in high school or college and interested in the field of law enforcement or corrections. Qualified candidates must submit an application and may be invited for an interview. Candidates will be subject to a background investigation.
The Sheriff's Cadet program introduces young adults to the field of law enforcement and to give them a better understanding of this possible career choice. This program also fosters responsibility in the members and gives them motivation to do well in school as well as become active community members through community service. The group provides a positive place for our young adults to grow and socialize.
