From the Desk of the Sheriff

I am honored to serve as your Sheriff. My priority is your safety and the protection of your constitutional rights. I take this responsibility very seriously as does my staff. I must also rely on you, the citizens of Dodge County to assist me in accomplishing these goals. Please utilize this website as a resource. Here you will be able to see recent press releases, report non-emergency traffic violations, provide tips that may help us to solve crime in your neighborhood or simply get to know your sheriff’s office. You will also be able to recognize a sheriff’s employee that you feel did a great job or suggest a means to improve our services.
The proud men and women of the Dodge County Sheriff's Office are here to serve you. We will provide honest, ethical and professional services as our Mission Statement indicates. We will work with the community to find proactive approaches toward reducing drug dependency and the crimes that are associated with that drug use, maintaining a high clearance rate for solving crime in Dodge County and above all else keeping our families safe from harm.
Please feel free to contact me or any member of my staff if you have comments or concerns. We value your opinions and together we will continue to make Dodge County a great place to live, work and visit.
Respectfully,
Sheriff Dale J. Schmidt
