Boat Patrol
Dodge County consists of 29 lakes and many rivers that make up
approximately 15,815 acres. To patrol this large water area, the
Dodge County Sheriff's Department purchased a 17 foot Alumicraft
boat during the summer of 2004. This purchase was made with grant
money obtained from the Wisconsin Department of Natural
Resources.
Deputies will be assigned to patrol water ways to assure that
safe boating laws are being followed.

Snowmobile Patrol
The Dodge County Sheriff's Department leases two snowmobiles for
patroling the trail system within the county. Deputies enforce a
wide variety of laws which will make the trails safer for all that
use them.

ATV Patrol
During the summer of 2004, the Dodge County Sheriff's Department
purchased two Polaris ATVs. These ATVs will be used to patrol the
ATV trails within the county. They will also be used to assist in
many functions where travel is needed to areas where normal patrol
vehicles could not go, such as rescuing a lost hunter.
